entX News: July 2025

10 July 2025

It’s been a truly transformative year for entX Limited, and I’m proud to share some of the key highlights from our 2024 Annual Report and recent AGM held in May.

Our strategic focus on delivering advanced nuclear science and engineering solutions is gaining momentum across the medical, space and defence sectors. The outlook for the coming year is on early contractual agreements and commercialisation activity that will result in our first revenues.

Driving Progress in Nuclear Medicine with IsoMedica

One of our standout achievements this year has been the rapid development of IsoMedica, our medical isotopes division. With global demand for radioisotopes like Lutetium-177 and Lead-212 rising, we’ve made bold strides toward establishing Australia’s first commercial radioisotope supply chain facility.

Among the key achievements, we secured $4.8 million in State and Federal Government grant funding, demonstrated Thorium-228 production at lab scale, and partnered with Tellus Holdings to ensure a sustainable supply chain. Our advancement in Ytterbium-176 enrichment puts us in a strong position to support the booming market for targeted cancer therapies. The next 12 months will see the first revenues from our new Advanced Radioisotope Production facility in Adelaide. We’ll be progressing our existing early supply agreements with domestic and international partners for precursor medical isotopes.

Powering Space and Defence Innovation

In the space and defence sectors, our work on GenX Power Systems and Radioisotope Heating Units (RHUs) is gaining international recognition. Our lunar night survival technology is now seen as a critical solution for future space missions.

This year, we signed a Letter of Intent to supply up to 48 RHU’s by 2030 and received support from the Australian Space Agency for our first launch. We also advanced our GenX Betavoltaic technology, offering ultra-durable power solutions for remote and extreme environments - from defence to deep space exploration.

These milestones are a testament to the strength of our team, the depth of our partnerships, and our shared commitment to solving real-world challenges with bold innovation.

The coming year is exciting for entX Space and Defence, with the first prototypes of both GenX and RHU technologies being delivered for early field testing and Space qualification. We have established a presence in the US with a leading law firm that is well connected to the US Department of Defence, many of the Prime contractors and platform developers who will be customers for our technology. Already, this is delivering positive early outcomes. The US Appropriations Committee has allocated budget to the development of autonomous technology to the tune of USD4B over the coming year. entX is in the box seat to capitalise on this.

entX secures patents in Australia and Canada for GenX and undertakes strategic push into US markets

We have been granted patents in both Australia and Canada for the design and manufacturing processes for our long term betavoltaic power generator technology, GenX. This is a significant milestone in the advancement of its innovative power solution that will capitalise on the surge in defence industry technology development in unmanned applications.

entX and ispace awarded grant to progress cutting-edge lunar night survival technology

entX has landed its second major grant of 2025, from the SA Government’s Space Collaboration and Innovation Fund to fast-track development of its groundbreaking Radioisotope Heating Unit (RHU). In partnership with Japanese lunar exploration company ispace, entX is tackling one of space exploration’s toughest challenges: surviving the freezing temperatures of the lunar night. With the potential to extend mission lifetimes from days to months, this collaboration is set to reshape the future of commercial lunar missions. Read on to learn how this partnership could heat up the next era of space innovation.
