entX News: A New Chapter of Growth and Innovation at entX
20 August 2026
It's been a big few months for entX.
Our Advanced Radioisotope Manufacturing Facility (ARMF) will be handed over in the coming weeks. Ahead of that, we've completed Factory Acceptance Testing on the new Hot Cell system that will support IsoMedica's radiopharmaceutical work - it’s now on its way to Australia. Once installed, it's a concrete step towards expanding sovereign radioisotope manufacturing capability here.
Through our "Mines to Medicine" approach, we're working to unlock new sources of medical isotopes and support next-generation cancer therapies. We covered this recently in a feature with InDaily, on building secure, scalable supply chains for nuclear medicine.
Our GenX prototype production facility is now turning out its first units. We expect to begin building prototypes for customer validation this quarter, with integration into customer prototypes targeted for the end of 2026.
Our Radioisotope Heating Unit (RHU) took a step toward flight heritage: the FAA has completed initial screening of entX's nuclear material payload application for the RHU Demonstrator Payload and formally accepted it for review. This commences the evaluation and interagency process ahead of the planned suborbital flight from Spaceport America.
We've also launched a Video Hub on our website, covering our work across Medical Isotopes, Radioisotope Heating Units and GenX betavoltaic technology.

Looking ahead to the rest of 2026:
ARMF commissioning and first customer-bound products
GenX prototypes moving into customer and partner evaluation
Finalised launch permitting for the RHU flight, targeted for Q1 2027.
None of this progress would be possible without the dedication of our team, partners, investors, and supporters who continue to share our vision and help bring these technologies to life.
Thanks for following entX's progress, more to come soon.
Warm regards,
Bryn Jones
Managing Director
